COASTAL CLEAN UP Saturday September 20th 8 AM – 12 NOON
It’s a great time to give back to the Island!
All trash items being collected – old crab traps, debris, rusty grills, old beach chairs, cans, trash…anything found along our coast can be taken to Eldred’s Marina where there will be a dumpster on the South side of the entry canal to the marina. We have also made arrangements for the collection of old Tires, Appliances and Batteries at the Marina site. You can go by Linda Soderquist’s house on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning at 8:30 to get garbage bags, sign the official waiver, and get a t-shirt (you must let her know by Thursday evening about a t-shirt size). She is located at 8886 Bay Street, adjacent to Dixon’s barge landing on the island. Choose where you will collect trash on the island and take what you collect over to Eldred’s.
