Charlotte county has communicated that it is currently accepting bids from licensed contractors to remove the hazardous debris left behind by the pink house which was destroyed by hurricane Irma.
The siding material is made of asbestos and must be handled carefully and removed by professionals.
Please refrain from touching,bagging, burning or burying these toxic materials. We ask for you patience while the county puts its plan into place.
